The CloudEngine S5731-H series of Gigabit / 10Gb optical hybrid Ethernet switches provide a mix of Gigabit or 10Gb optical ports downstream, four 10Gb optical ports upstream, and an expansion card slot.

Based on Huawei's unified VRP (Versatile Routing Platform) software platform, the CloudEngine S5731-H has wired-wireless in-depth convergence capability, supports on-board ACs, and manages up to 1K APs; it has service-following capability to provide consistent user experience; and it supports innovative optical-electrical synergy technology, with an optical and electrical port in one.As a center switch, it provides over 300m long-distance 60W PoE++ power supply for remote modules (RUs), which is the best choice for large and medium-sized high-end quality campus network branches, small campus network core and data center access.It is widelyused in various industries such as medical, retail, mining, and internet.
